Hi *SM-ers!
We are in the process of creating a new AIX environment. We will upgrade all
our AIX instances to 5.2 and we are now creating standard install images.
We installed the 5.1.5 API client and we also installed the TDP for Oracle
2.2.1 32-bit client (necessary for license installation according to the
5.1.5 readme). Now. when we try to install the Data Protection 5.1.5 64-bits
fix it fails. It complains about a missing prerequisite: bos.rte.<5.
So, the TDP fix, specially made for an AIX 5 64-bits environment wants a run
time environment lower than version 5??????
Maybe somebody can explain what's wrong here? Or should I open a PMR?
Thanks in advance for any reply!
Kindest regards,
Eric van Loon
