Hi Suresh!

What´s happend is that you just only add a new Log file to your system.
So step by step is.

[This steps is for add a new log file]

cd \Tivoli\tsm\console
dsmfmt -log F:\tsmdata\server1\log99.dsm 1024
cd \tsmdata\server1  (Go to the folder where you have dsmserv.opt and
dsmserv.dsk)
"c:\Program Files\Tivoli\Tsm\server\dsmserv" extend log f:
\tsmdata\server1\log99.dsm 1024

Try to start your server.

If this not help you need to remove log08 and replace it with a new one.

If i do as you said below all my 12 gb log will be deleted & a new log will
be created or it will be added additionally. Because the log is full so
only
the server went down.
Give me all steps after what what i need to make it up.

Hi Suresh!
That Jeroen is a good first step. But I don´t know how your server is build
up. We can not restore our TSM Server like that.
You can not set a offline log to online again becuse it is corrupt some
how.
So what you can do is.
run c:\....\....\dsmserv format 1 newlogname 10240MB
PS : You most run this command from your F:\TSMLOG\Server1 directory.

And after that start the services as normal.

When the server is up and runing. Create another log file and set it a copy
log file.
When you have done that. Remove you old file with command
del logv f:\tsmlog\server1\log08.dsm wait=yes

Delete the file form the OS. But wait until the TSM Server have delete it
so you can not see it anymore on the TSM Server.

         Copy Status: Undefined
Available Space (MB): 1,024
Allocated Space (MB): 0
     Free Space (MB): 1,024

So how to make online or delete and recreate it only

And when you have create a new one you can start the TSM Server and in the
TSM Server can you delete the log file.
And when you have delete the log file in TSM you can remove the file from
our OS.

And how you create a new Log files in Windows ver of TSM typ dsmserv /? in
a command line.

can you tell me how to delete this log "F:\TSMDB\SERVER1\LOG08.DSM".

My log size is 12gb.

Do you know how large the Log file is?
Then can you create a new log file and boot up the server again.

Use dsmserv to create it.
And start up the server again and it´s should work.

PS : When you have create the new log. Insert a mirror to all log files and
databas.

My derver is down and wheni restart manually bu dsmserv i get the following
message.
