I would suspect so. The target box can't recognize the IDs for the
restored files because (I suspect) it doesn't recognize the owners of
the files, the files having been dropped into an 'alien' domain. TSM,
not knowing what else to do, would set the files' owner to be the person
who's logged in.

A trust relationship between the domains might prevent this.
