One thing you will be able to do once you are on W2K is to update the
TSM servers TCP/IP window size to 128. NT 4.0 could only handle a
window size of 63. This should increase backup/restore performance.

Subject: moving TSM from NT4 to Win2000
Is there anything I shold be especial aware of when moving TSM server
from a NT4 server to a Win2000 server? The current TSM platform is
4.1.1.0. I'm going to move it on a new physical server and then do a
upgrade to one of the latest TSM versions/releases.
