What is the underlying database?
Are you restoring over the SAP instance created or "cloning" one instance into
another?

Hi,

Has anyone had the following troubles?

On a large restore (1.3 TB) SAP database using TDP for R/3.

First issue - session with a SendW wait time that continues to increment
until the CommTimeOut is reached then terminates the connection? The byte
count never increases and the tape drive and the tape are held until it
times out?

Second issue - there are several MediaW errors that use up all the sessions
but not all the drives?

Third issue is that we do 42 M/s on backups but the restores are only at 10
M/s.

Information:

Both servers are:
Windows 2000 AS
TSM 5.1.5.1
TDP for R/3 3.2.0.11
STK L700 library
7 9840 drives
Dual Giganet backbone

Thanks
