Show us the output of a 'Query Volume ______ F=D' on one of them. Of
particular interest is "Scratch Volume?" (to reveal whether the tape is from
a scratch pool or was Defined to the storage pool, in which case empty and
Private makes sense); and Date Last Written, to see if any data had been
written to the tape.
