Steven,

1. Make sure "MOUNTWait" is set to "Yes".
       TDPEXCC QUERY TDP
   will show the value.
   Set it with:
       TDPEXCC SET MOUNTWAIT=YES

2. Make sure there is available
   storage on the TSM Server to
   hold the backup of the IS.
   You may need to make sure there is a tape
   available in the storagepool that can satisfy the backup.
