Sorry to react so late, but I've hadn't have time to go thru my ADSM-L
digest before today.

The Client version stored in the Database is the version of the last Client
that accessed the Node.
For example, if de Backup-client on the node is version 4.2.1.20 then after
the backup is finished this will be the version you will find in the
Database. If at a later time a Restore is performed, using a client with a
different version (e.q. 4.1.0.0) then after the restore is finished the
version in the Database will be 4.1.0.0.
I ran into this just recently, so beware!
