There are no plans for DP for Websphere to support Websphere 4.0.
Support for Websphere 5.0 is currently being worked on.
There is a documented procedure on how to back up
Websphere 4.0 using ITSM in the redbook titled:
"Backing up WebSphere Application Server with Tivoli Storage Management."
