First of all ensure they are visible and show up as rmtX. Afterwards
install TSM device driver and through SMIT create mtX devices. Use latter
in TSM.
If AIX does not see the drive as rmtX track this down as
cabling/controller/etc. problem.

I am trying to setup a test server.  I would like to use a DLT drive as a
manual library.
I have been unable to get AIX to see the DLT drive.

Do I need special drivers?  Is there something else that I am missing?
Will this DLT Drive work with AIX???

RS/6000 H50
AIX 4.3.0
TSM 4.2.1.15
DLT Drives = Compaq 15/30 GB DLT
