Does move data  3490 vol stg=xxx     (where xxx is  new 3590 pool) work
If you have STK silos then you need to set up your tapereq definitions correctly
otherwise
it will be HSC software that gets in with the 3490 mount attempts and TSM
correctly tells you
that there are no scratch tapes available in the 3490 pool

Subject:  Reclaim to storage pool not working on OS390 TSM 4.2.2.13 ?



Is there a problem with the "Reclaim to storage pool" definition for tape
storage pools on OS390 TSM, specifically V4.2.2.13 ?

I have an old archive pool that still has data on 3490 tapes. The "Reclaim
to storage pool" is clearly defined to a new 3590 pool. I lowered the
"scratch tape" count as well as the reclaimation % value.

Now I am receive errors about there being insufficient space in the "old"
storage pool. Checking the activity log shows the reclaimation process
only using 3490 tapes, not the new 3590 pool ?
