Does your 'WINDOWS' storage pool have a nextpool defined?

Have you tried assigning more than one tape to the Storage Pool?

OK Gurus figure out this one.

I Started with TSM 5.0 on Win2k with disk spools being the destination for
the default management class 'DISKPOOL'.
I was able to backup to disk.
I added an IBM 3581 LTO.
Defined 3 Storage pools based on LTOCLASS1 device class,
'WINDOWS','DAILY','DOCSERV'.
I label a tape and check in PRIVATE and define to storage pool 'WINDOWS'.
"The customer doesn't want to use scratches, making a fixed pool of tapes.
No problem have done this for myself and
other customers."
I updated the default management class to use 'WINDOWS' storage pool and
activated it, the tape mounts for a minute
starts to backup, unmounts the tape, then mounts tapes from other storage
pools and eventually the backup fails for insufficient space
or insufficient mount points.
The tapes and drive work because I can backup the database to devclass
LTOCLASS1.
I changed 'WINDOWS' to use scratches and a tape got mounted and assigned to
'LTOPOOL1' the pool created when the library was defind in the wizard.
I Upgraded to TSM 5.1.5 and now get insufficient mount point even when
going to disk spool.

Seems to be some confusion between either management class or storage pool.
