How come you are not going to 5.1.x.   I am running 5.1.1.4.   It hasn't
introduced anything horrible and new.   I still see my CPU usage go up
(2.5x) and  I/O rate go down (to half)  while migrations runs.  But I saw
that happening on 4.1.5 also.   Be careful NOT to go to 5.1.0.   That was
bad.  I am running z/OS 1.1.

We just jumped for z/OS 1.2 from OS/390 and am starting to have lots of
problems with my TSM on OS390 4.1.4.

I was hoping to wait for the 4.2.3 update but with the problems I am
having, I don't seem to have a choice but to upgrade, ASAP !  Especially
since 4.1.x is no longer supported.

I have been reading the long discussions on the problems with 4.2.2.x so I
have to ask the question, myself.

Should I jump right to 4.2.2.13, which is still a PATCH, do the UPGRADE DB
and IDL stuff and hope for the best ??????
