since 27-th August new processor-based licensing is back in business. EVBP
licensing scheme introduced on 9-th April was temporarily frozen on 28-th
May but in August was re-enabled.
With introduction of ITSM eXtended Edition (5698-ISX) HSM client is again
separated as it was (former Tivoli Space manager is now ITSM for HSM).
DRM, Managed Libraries and Library Sharing are still in eXtended Edition
as were in Enterprise Edition. The new fact is now MgSysSAN are separated
in new product (ITSM for SAN).
On the end VBP (point-based) licensing will be available through 3-td
February 2003 but IBM is trying to convince customers to switch to the new
scheme earlier.
In fact for many configurations new processor licenses are cheaper than
points (but for sure there are many others where the opposite is true).

If it is the desktop type license it is $124 US.  A "server" license is
$217
US for up to 4 CPUs on Intel and everything else is $465 US unless it is
the
HP SuperDome or over 23 CPUs.
