Zoltan,
You can go straight to 4.2.3.0 when available as this will incorporate all
previous fixes

Thanks for the feedback. Good to know someone here knows what is going on
!

However, I have a question about this update/upgrade.

In another conversation about upgrades gone bad, after they jumped from
4.1.3 to 4.2.2.12, things fell apart big-time. IBM told them they should
have gone to 4.2.2.0 first.

So, my question is, should I install 4.2.2.0 first, do my UPGRADEDB and
IDL stuff and then go to 4.2.3 after running a while ? Since there have
been 13 patches to 4.2.2, I am a little concerned !

I realize this question may be pre-mature since 4.2.3 isn't out, yet !

4.2.3 is very near release, probably less than a week. The client was
released last night.

Subject: Now that TSM on OS390 V4.1 is no longer supported...........

When can we expect a finalization of the 4.2.2.?? PTF's..........not
patches, which are up to 4.2.2.13 !

I have outstanding issues on my current, now unsupported V4.1 server (for
which I have posted messages here and received absolutely no responses)
and
I can no longer call IBM/Tivoli about (yes, it is my fault to have
waited.......)

What level should I jump to ?

Do I ignore the statements about overlaying my "production files" with the
latest patch level (and have to deal with the messages that come up
everytime the server is started, saying I am running on patches !!!). I
have been running 4.2.2.10 on a test partition/server but not really doing
much with it !

Anything special I should know about going to 4.2.2.?? besides the obvious
about doing the UPGRADEDB and IDL stuff !

Any gotchas, new stuff, differences in how this behave ?
