I had something what sounds the same. TSM db on raid 5 (not anymore). Extend
started, server seems to hang. Went home and came back next morning. All
went well.

Has anyone ever seen this, my tsm database is 100% full, I formated and
defined more volumes, and when you q dbv volume you see the new volumes,
but the extend db never works.  When I enter q db I have 4052MB to extend
to but when I issue the command 'extend db 4052' it just hangs, no response
ever.  I am running TSM v5.1.1 on a solaris.  Any help would be great!
