something about using journaled backup.

SYMPTOM:

We have activated the journaled backup on 3 big fileservers. (2x NT4.0SP6,
1xW2k)
The w2k works great. The NT-Boxes use the journaled backup only partially,
not on all
filesystem, especially the important ones are fully scanned.
The backups lasting 15-17 hours, but nearly all data are send during the 1st
hour.
The partitions are all configured for journaled backup.

JournaledFileSystems=C: D: E:

c: -> 0,3 GB Data
d: -> 1,6 GB
e: -> 45 GB

The dsmschedlog shows :

directorys are scanned.

The second NT-box is similar, except the d$ is not journaled too.(D$
contains winnt and program).

QUESTION:

What is wrong ?

Is there something diffrent between NT 4.0 and W2k on configuring journaled
backup ?
I used the setup wizzard, with the default settings.

In my opinion i did nothing wrong, and it has to work, but that doesn't
mind.
