Me too. The 3590 technology is pretty much the Cadillac of sequential
storage. What is prompting your move?

If you're counting the number of mounts, keep in mind that an LTO tape can
hold 3 times (or more) the data of a 3590 tape. This results in fewer
mounts, though admittedly slower throughput.
