O.K. it worked. Basically I had to halt tsm and started up with the
following options:

nomigrrecl
disablescheds yes
expinterzal 0

because as soon as I tried to do the "audit volume" command on that
specific volume, I got some error saying that there was a space
reclamation already running for it, and it will not allow me to execute
anything on it.

after the restart I followed the steps that you provided me with and it
worked right away. Thanks for your help.
