You could do whats called twin tailing if you are actually going to share
the drives, but this is not necessary if you'll just be sharing the library
and not the drives.

Subject: Library Sharing with 3494

Hi guys and girls,

Please, share your experiences:
one of my customers wants to share a 3494 library with two TSM servers
running on Sun Sparc machines by means of a SCSI bus connection. I was told
the library drives needs to be wired in a certain way to allow sharing. How
would I wire the drives and what kind of cables would I need. What else has
to be considered doing this??

Thanks a lot

Lars
