I've seen the same with our TSM 4.2.1.9 system. I suspect the culprit is
running reclamation while running inventory expiration. I think data gets
locked or pinned or something of that sort. I have found that one of two
methods will clear the tape. Try an AUDIT VOLUME vol-name FIX=YES. If that
doesn't work, do a MOVE DATA on the volume.
