You can run TSM with only a single drive, but then you will have a
problem doing reclamation and make it more difficult to create a copy of
your tape pool, for off-site. The A/E feature is a licensing feature. It
means that you are using a larger library and thus you will be paying
more for your TSM Server License. This feature applies to the 3584
library as well as 3583 libraries with more than 2 drives.
