I have recently moved all of my db and log volumes live. It's a matter of
'def dbvol ...' and def logvol...." for the new location, and then doing a
del dbvol and del logvol for the old volumes. Server is a bit slow at times
during these operations, but moving about 60 GB takes less then 24 hours, on
AIX 433 with ssa disks.

Only problem, you cannot do a database backup while the del dbvol is
running, which may be a problem if you have you log in rollforward and need
incremental backups during the day to purge the log.
