Anyone have TSM implemented with DLT tape drives and no library?

We have a small facility looking to move from Arc Serve to a TSM backup
solution. They would like to utilize existing DLT tape drives (9
available) instead of purchasing a library. They will not be purchasing DRM
either, but will need to take tapes off-site for disaster recovery.
Basically, getting an NT server configured for TSM and purchasing the
software and needed clients is all they can afford right now. They will be
backing up 186 gig of used space from 35 NT/Win 2000 Servers.

Would appreciate any comments/suggestions of a DLT no library implementation
of TSM. Specifically interested in amount of time just operating TSM -
excluding normal monitoring time.

** Note new area code is 479 was 501
new prefix is 314 for all 478-47XX numbers

Thank you,
