I've just tested a Qlogic 2200 HBA in a Sun server connected to a STK 9840
drive. Works well. One thing to be wary of is don't use the Sun supplied
Qlogic drivers (SUNWqlc package) if your card is not a "Sun" Qlogic. The sun
drivers picked up the HBA OK but couldn't see the tape drive. Download the
drivers from qlogics website.
