4.2.1.15 was quiet stable. I would recommend to stick it for a few weeks 
more. (I am on 4.2.2.0 since it released. I had no problem until I tried 
4.2.2.1) 
IBM is quite right to say that we should stick to maintenance releases unless 
there is 
problem. I downgraded back to 4.2.2.0 and I have no problem at the moment.

So is the general consensus then that v4.2.2.1 is bad (as below), and
v4.2.2.0 is definitely ok?
 
I'm literally in the middle of upgrading from ADSM 3.1 and am currently
sitting at 4.2.1.15 and I've only got the system to upgrade till the end of
tomorrow, (setup is a simple AIX 4.3.3 server with a DB2 database and
backup/archive client being backed up to a 7331 library).
