Joni, we had a similar problem with a NT TSM server and a HP DLT library. I
found that the tape I was having problems with had been in tapedrive01 and
received an I/O error several days prior. From that point forward the tape
would fail to mount and tapedrive01 had not been used. The tape drive showed
online in TSM. We had to power cycle the library and the TSM server to clear
it. Hope this helps.
