Hi Roger!
This has been discussed on this list before. The general opinion was to let
TSM do the work load balancing. So create multiple volumes and add them to
your diskpool.
Database and Recovery log mirroring was also discussed. I believe TSM
mirroring was slightly faster than AIX mirroring.
