Hello All,

We are in the process of going live on a new RS6000. I wanted to verify
application/data one more time before we go live this weekend. On the
current production server, I ran the following commands.

Backup db dev=8mmexdev t=f
Backup devconfig
Backup volhist

I then proceeded to power off the exabyte and shutdown all tsm processes and
removed the connection from old server to new server.

I powered up the exabyte, copied over the volhist and devconfig files to new
server. Ran the following commands:
cfgmgr -v
lsdev -Cc tape

and then ran a script to load the format:
dsmserv loadformat 3 /tsm/vol1/log01 /tsm/vol1/log02 /tsm/vol1/log03 3
/tsm/vol1/db01 /tsm/vol1/db02 /tsm/vol1/db03

All this was fine. Then I ran dsmserv restore db todat=today and I got the
following error.

cd/usr/tivoli/tsm/server/bin@shemp $dsmserv restore db todate=today
