If they are using Cisco switches make sure they do not have auto-negotiation
turned off for the ports. We had the same problem at IBM Sterling Forest.
Every time we did a test it took several hours to get the networking,
working. We ended up buying floor space and installing our own HP switches.
Now it's just getting the network connection from the computer room to the
ballroom where all the PC's are setup.
