Theoraticly you should be able to do it. use mksysb to backup to =
optical
device. Then use DD to copy the file to a diks and use TSM to back it =
up.

But still i don=B4t understand why you should wana back up mksysb, when =
you
can=B4t boot form a TSM tape on AIX, then it would make your mksysb =
useless.
