Hi,

We have just taken control of a TSM server on AIX rs/6000 with TSM V3.7 and
4x drives in a LIB_3575. The first thing that struck us was that the library
had run out of tape slots to put more scratch tapes.

We found out that there was never a delete set-up for the volume history
file and by setting this to delete todate=21 we have just freed up 47
scratch tapes. As we are not sure about how these processes are related
maybe someone could enlighten us on how not deleting the "old" tapes from
the volume history list affects the scratchpool?
(DRM is installed and active on this system)
