Hi

The IBM Network Storage Manager(NSM) is a very special machine.

My suggestion to you is that if you have performance problems, issue a support request to IBM. Normally, they are very interested in solving the problem.

Best Regards

Daniel Sparrman

On a regular TSM installation those parms from Ben's email are set in
rc.adsmserv.  Have you checked to see if they're set in startadsm?  If not,
sounds like time to lodge a complaint with SSD.

Dwight,
thanks for your response.
Unfortunately I'm not allowed to install anything on our TSM machine.
It's a bundle of hard- and software called NSM (network storage manager).
Our IBM hardware engineer installed ECA level 16. No newer level seemed
to bee available.
I will try the server option SELFTUNEBUFPOOLSIZE and hope to resolve
the problem. Otherwise I will have to give IBM a call.

Kind reagards and greetings from Austria
Thomas
