Hi 'SMers
My environment:
Server: 4.2.1.8 on AIX 4.3.3,
Clients: 4.2.1.0 WIN98, 4.2.1.14 AIX 4.3.3
My problem:
Since beginning this year, i.e. 2002, I experienced the following
strange behaviour.
1. register a new node
register new_node .... doma=standard passexp=0 compress=yes
2. run a full incremental backup on this "new_node"
dsmc i
3. followed by a
q filesp new_node * f=d
4. the o/p of the "q filesp" shows NO timestamps of the last backup, e.g
tsm: DS3>q filesp inv88 f=d
Node Name: INV88
Filespace Name: \\inv 88\c$
Hexadecimal Filespace Name:
FSID: 1
Platform: Win98

Is Filespace Unicode?: No

4. I'd like to know if any of You experienced that behaviour too,
or could try to run the above sequence.
5. Any other idea for an explanation of this "feature" ?
Kind regards, Peter
