I take it by the fact that you are in Germany, that maybe the W2k machine
was installed for German language.

Even though you installed TSM using english, I believe TSM will pick up the
regional language setting of W2k for some things.

Go into   Control Panel >>  Regional Options >>

You will probably find that the language is set to German.
