I would like to get a Fibre Channel Adapter for our F80 TSM server that
supports sigle-mode, so that I can put a library into another building for
disaster recovery purpose. I checked with IBM and the card I can get from
IBM only supports multi-mode. THe emulex LP9000-L1 does support both AIX and
single-mode. However, Neither emulex nor IBM can tell me for sure that the
LP9000L is compatible with F80. So just check you TSMers to see anyone of
you have tried this combination. Thanks for help.
