We have many HPUX 10.2 servers running 3.1.0.8 (the latest client it can
officially run).  When we have misses we just have the HP admins run a
backup manually and then restart their schedule.  This usually fixes the
problem.  If it keeps failing we just keep continuing the process until it
finally gets back into an automatic schedule (I know this isn't foolproof
but it seems to work for us).  We are running TSM 4.1.4.0 server just so you
know.
