That depends.  If it is a primary pool tape you may want to mark it as
destroyed and do a restore volume on it to recover the data from your copy
storage pool.  If it is a copy pool volume, simply delete it with

delete vol volname discardd=yes

The next time backup stg runs the data that was on that tape will be put
onto another tape.

If it is a primary pool volume and you do not have copy storage pools then
delete it using the command above.

Deleting a volume from a primary pool will result in that volume's data
being deleted from the copy pool as well.  This may not be what you want!
