It depends on your library.  Some are designed to clean themselves
and setting ASNEEDED won't work on some libraries.  What Library
and Server do you have?

How can i see if the tape drives in a library are realy cleaning them selfs,
if i configure the drives to ASNEEDED, and i have a cleaning tape in the
library.
