I believe there is a typo in the manual. It should read, "When a Windows
application deletes a file...".

This is also discussed in the README file, and it is correctly stated
there.

Has anybody experience with the TSM-Journal-Filesystem on NT4?
What about the incrthreshold-Parm in the opt-file?

I just read the following in the TSM for Windows Using the Backup-Archive
Client Manual:

When a Windows client deletes a file or directory with a long name,
it sometimes reports this using a compressed name.

Does that mean, the TSM-Journal-DB saves the directories or files
in DOS 8.3 notation?
e.g.: c:\program~1 for c:\programme

Has someone seen any problems with the journal filesystem?
