Yes, you're right the problem is that I am consultant. But the contact with
the customer was made AFTER the purchase just to configure TSM.
Question answering to your question. Only one of the servers is having 600
GB filesystem with (still) unknown daily change rate.
The next server will have another 600 GB for Oracle DB (which I suppose
will grow in the future).
And this library was just purchased !!!
Was this the answer you expected?!
Sorry ladies and gentlemen, I am not kidding. After the customer understood
that the product can offer SAN sharing features he asked for them. How to
explain that this is very small/slow library for SAN sharing. I do plan to
end-up with twin-tail SCSI but due to my lack of experience with HP-UX I
feel afraid how it will work.

I have a question:

Why would you *want* to connect a 7337 to a SAN router? The 7337 is a
rather old, slow two-drive (non-expandable) DLT library with a
preponderance of mechanical parts.

If this is a client of yours asking the question (your .sig mentions
'consultant'), look at a newer, faster library that has no problems
connecting to a SAN, like a 3583 or 3584.
