See my Standard Rant 1, clause 5: Virutally every time there is slow
restore speeds, you're likely dealing with:
        --a misconfigured network
        --a misconfigured TSM client

Not knowing what a "core builder 9000" is (but assuming it's a
switch), how did you "check the connection speed"? If you just looked
at the NIC settings, you haven't checked anything. What benchmarks did
you use to actually *measure* the network speed? Are either the TSM or
Exchange servers and the "core builder 9000" intervened by a router or
hub?
