drm on aix - moving backup volumes offsite
2001-09-03 09:01:41
Hi
* is there any reason for using (or not using) the COURIER state ????
we want to use the following procedures:
a) "q drm * wherest=mountable" (to get a report)
b) "move drm * wherest=mountable tostate=notmountable"
c) "move drm * wherest=notmountable tostate=vault"
* we have a IBM 3580 library.
I understand that during checkout of the concerning drm tapes
messages will be issued to which an operator has to reply !!!!???
can this be bypassed ??? e.g. using remove=bulk option !!!??
thanks.
