Hello all:

I am attempting to restore files to an AIX machine via the command line
interface (no GUI available), and am not sure which flags are available to
use. My issue: restore the latest
file(s) (files have been deleted) for a certain directory. The restore
should not prompt me to overwrite. I want it to overwrite regardless. I am
attempting to script this since it must be done to multiple sites.

What I have: dsmc restore /dir/sub/sub/* -su=yes pitd=01/01/2001 pitt=12:00
What I need: dsmc restore /dir/sub/sub/* -su=yes fromsomedate
tosomedaterange overwrite ...

How do I construct the from and to date range to give me files, if they
exist, for the given range, and if something in the given directory needs to
be overwritten, just do it w/out promping?

None of the books I have give any kind of listing for the possible restore
flags. The Tivoli site is geared more towards fixes and sales, and I can't
find anything on the tsm.org site either. If there is another place for me
to look, point me there.

Thank you,

John Pimentel
