Referring to Tivoli's compatibility list @

V4.1 and V3.7 Client Versions are supported with Notes
of IBM OS/390 USS V2R6 and V2R7 are only supported via
Tivoli Storage Manager V3.7.  Maybe there was some
miscommunication but this is where I got my info. from
and previously working @ IBM we ran earlier versions
of ADSM/TSM on the mainframe.
