This may sound like a stupid question. However, for a not yet licensed copy
of TDP for Oracle under AIX should I expect database backups to tape to be
ok and restores to fail. This is the problem I am currently experiencing.
The backups work fine however the restore reports that it cannot find the
backup set specified, yet it is clearly present under the TSM with the exact
same name.

The non-licensing has been caused by an error by our supplier; should
it/would it affect restores in this way?
