I thought I was pretty "network" literate until one of our telecom guys
asked this question:
"When TSM uses TCP/IP to communicate between the server and the clients,
what kind of communication is it using?"
I thought it was a trick question, with TCP/IP being the correct answer. He
then asked if it was UDP, or what...? The only setting that I know of in
TSM (4.1+) is on the client (TCP/IP vs Named Pipes, etc.)
Does anyone know that answer, or can you tell me where to find it. Also, it
sounds like I have more to learn (as always), so if anyone can point me to a
good reference I'd appreciate it.
Thank you,
