Michael,
        I believe the X-lib dependencies are fine to ignore as long as you
do not wish to use the graphical interface (dsm).  As for the
/opt/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsm.sys file, that is your client
configuration file.  (Not sure if you are/were asking for help with that
error or just included that output for some reason.)  Check you
/opt/.../bin/dsm.opt.smp  and /opt/.../bin/dsm.sys.smp files for examples
for your dsm.opt and dsm.sys files.
