Joe - It is "interesting"...  The task is indeed proportional to the
      number of files that have expired, rather than the number of
files in the server.  We have millions of files in our server and
recently extended our retentions a bit.  Expire Inventory then ran
in about a minute's time and only looked at a couple of hundred files,
according to its summary stats.  We previously had a period where the
Retonly value was 365 but Retextra was 180, and Expire Inventory would
consistently examine like 200,000 files but delete only a small fraction
of that number.  I have not come upon any documentation explaining what
the server is doing in expiration, particularly to explain how it seems
to very quickly determine that only a very small number of files have
to be examined and deleted.  It remains a little mystery.
