Our standard way of upgrading or changing machines is to take a DB
backup (+ all the other files needed, as indicated by the DRM) and
restore it to the machine at the new level. It has been suggested that
this will not work for an upgrade from ADSM 3.1 to TSM 4.1, which I
would find disastrous and stupid.
Is anyone from Tivoli (or who has tried it) listening who can confirm
this?
